Volunteering at Perth Rotary Club Annual Rotary Christmas Breakfast 2014
The Perth Rotary Club had their Annual Rotary Christmas Breakfast on Friday 19 December 2014 at the Parmelia Hilton Hotel, where they raised funds to support their joint venture project, "Path of Hope". They have teamed up with the Salvation Army and raise funds to enable the continued operation of a women's refuge providing support to women and children affected by Domestic Violence.
HCC was delighted to be able to assist as the event photographer including setting up the popular Santa Booth. Four HCC members volunteered to help out - Kee, Victor, Cedric and Glen. It was an early 6am start for the guys to set up the lighting equipment. The photographs was delivered to Perth Rotary Club before the Christmas break and was very well received.
Thanks all for participating in this good cause.
Heathcote Camera Club (HCC) has its beginnings back in 2009 as a group of photographers recruited as event photographers for the local universities sports events. Since the events, the group continue to meet regularly to pursue their passion of photography. Along the way, the group grew and started to have regular meeting and photoshoot outings. In 2013, the group decided to form a formal club to further their photographic interest and increase their capacity to reach out to the community through photography.
